Update: Dividend Stock Picks for the Week of 2/4/13 to 2/8/13

Welcome back to Dividend Stock Investing for the Common Man! Thank you stopping by and supporting the idea of investing in dividend paying stocks for the long term. I hope everyone had a great week!

I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis. It was a 10 for 20 week. 50% of my picks increased in value. It was a rough week to invest in dividend paying stocks for both the NYSE and NASDAQ, however some of my picks flew sky high! The market was very kind to those who invested wisely this week. Continue to pick up dividend aristocrats on any pull backs and hold for long haul. I am a long term bull!

See below for more details... as well as some great videos pertaining to Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR)(NYSE:TM), which rose $6.32 per share this past week! Also, check out the book below. Very interesting read!

DSIFTCM is NOT affiliated with any of these companies. I am not a professional stock picker and am only providing my personal opinions of some of the greatest dividend paying companies!

It is not how many times you win short term, but rather which investments can provide you with a steady income stream over the long term. When investing in dividend paying stocks you are protecting yourself from stock market volatility. If the market goes down one quarter, the dividend payment will help recoup the losses. Let these companies work hard so they can maintain their dividend and increase it year over year. As a shareholder, it is like receiving a raise each year. Reinvest your dividends to maximize your profits!

Keep investing as much as you can on a daily or weekly basis. Perform your due diligence and invest in companies that you feel comfortable with. Do not risk your hard earned dollars by investing in unknown, unreliable companies.

Always remember, YOU are in charge of your financial life. Do not let anyone tell you how to spend your money. We all have the knowledge and smarts inside of us. Make smart investments! Until next time friends, Like Us on Facebook, Follow Us on Twitter and feel free to comment below. What are some of your favorite dividend paying stocks?

Update: Dividend Stock Picks for the Week of 9/3/12 to 9/7/12

Welcome back to Dividend Stock Investing for the Common Man! Thank you stopping by and supporting the idea of investing in dividend paying stocks for the long term. I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

It was a 19 for 20 week. 95% of my picks increased in value. It was a very profitable week as a whole for most of the NASDAQ and NYSE. Although we made some cash this week from American Capital Mortgage Investment Crp(NASDAQ:MTGE) and The J.M. Smucker Company(NYSE:SJM) it is not how many times you win short term, but rather which investments can provide you with a steady income stream over the long term.

Update: Stock Picks for the Week of 6/25/12 to 6/29/12

Welcome back to Dividend Stock Investing for the Common Man! Thank you stopping by and supporting the idea of investing in dividend paying stocks for the long term. I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

It was a 30 for 35 week. 86% of my picks increased in value.  Diageo plc (ADR)(NYSE:DEO),  Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ADR)(NYSE:BUD),  United Parcel Service, Inc.(NYSE:UPS). and  The Procter & Gamble Company(NYSE:PG) were the big winners. Although we made some serious cash this week it is not how many times you win short term, but rather which investments can provide you with a steady income stream over the long term. When investing in dividend paying stocks you are protecting yourself from stock market volatility. If the market goes down one quarter, the dividend payment will help recoup the losses.

I like companies such as Diageo plc (ADR)(NYSE:DEO) and  The Procter & Gamble Company(NYSE:PG) because they are best of breed and have a huge pipeline of products. Let them work hard to profit so they can maintain their dividend and increase it year over year. As a shareholder, it is like receiving a raise each year. Reinvest your dividends to maximize your profits!

Until next time friends, keep investing as much as you can on a weekly basis. Perform your due diligence and invest in companies that you feel comfortable with. Do not risk your hard earned dollars by investing in unknown, unreliable companies.

Update: Stock Picks for the week of 1/9/12 to 1/13/12

Greetings! I hope you are having a great new year so far. 2012 should be a fantastic year for the market. Please click here for a quick pep talk if you are having the stock market blues. Stay consistent and follow your Roth IRA portfolio business plan. Don't let the market fluctuation stop you from getting your piece of the pie. Investing in dividend paying stocks will keep your Roth IRA healthy.

I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis. As you can see below, it was a profitable 10 for 18 week, however it was a roller-coaster ride. Some selections decreased in value while others had a pretty nice percentage gain for the week. BBT, O, CSC and JPM were this past week's clear winners, however GIS was looking healthy. The over all net gain for the week of 1/9/12 to 1/13/12 was $1.60.

As a rule of thumb, always invest in high yielding dividend paying stocks for your retirement years. Continue to hold on to your stocks for the long term so the dividends have plenty of time to compound. Feel free to watch the videos below featuring Realty Income Corp and General Mills. Both will inject your Roth IRA stock portfolio with stability and profits. Until next time, happy investing, reinvest those dividends and let your smart investment decisions work for you!

Stock Picks for the week of 1/9/12 to 1/13/12

I hope the new year has been profitable for you so far! Welcome back to Dividend Stock Investing for the Common Man. Listed below are the newest dividend paying stock selections for the Common Man's portfolio for the week of January 9th, 2012 to January 13th, 2012. Any one of these stocks will safeguard your Roth IRA stock portfolio with solid dividends, or what I like to call it free cash! I am bullish long term on each of these companies and I believe in their financials. I'll check back in next Friday to determine how well or poor these picks performed.

Continue to invest as much as you can each week to ensure that you have a solid dividend income stream of wealth! I must remind you that I am only a fan of these stocks and am not pumping them for my own personal gain. I just enjoy sharing which stocks I believe are dividend aristocrats and should be seriously considered when investing your hard earned dollars. Update: Stock Picks for the week of 12/19/11 to 12/26/11

Greetings! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow.

I wanted to recap last week's picks for you since it is important to review all investments on a weekly, if not daily, basis. As you can see below, it was a profitable 14 for 15 week. All but WWE popped. CAT flew higher by $5.05. The over all net gain for the week of 12/19/11 to 12/26/11 was $29.47.

Always invest in high yielding dividend paying stocks for your retirement years. Hold on to your stocks for the long term so dividends have plenty of time to compound. Feel free to watch the video below about Waste Management and Caterpillar. WM and CAT will inject your Roth IRA stock portfolio with stability and profits. Until next time, happy investing and reinvest your dividends. Watch your smart investment decisions work for you!
